Thanks for that explanation. :) Silly me, hadn't read the GRUB docs
(will do it first thing now). I have FreeBSD too installed, and I just
chainload that partition ... so was trying the same for DragonFly also. 
(hmm, DragonFly is a lot less mouthful than DragonFlyBSD). :)
