Try this one, it syncs ls (util.c) with FreeBSD, to add wc support:

Thankies for testing. And please don't take the mentioning of the needed
tools in a bad way, it wasn't meant as such. After i slept and thought about
it, it was obvious where the problem was.
Btw. which terminal are you using ? I have not found a perfect one yet.
