I'm just not sure if this is workable.  I put the same drive in a Dell and
couldn't get past the device/slice name in the installation.  I was hoping
if the Dell installed, then my controller would be the issue.  My laptop has
some really important stuff I use often.

Anyway, I find it hard to believe no one has had a similar problem yet.  I
know it's an older laptop, but it IS a P2, and it DOES run FreeBSD
flawlessly.  But every time I try DFly, it chokes.

I saw the post about the ATA fixes.  I don't think they have any bearing on
my box, but I was hopeful maybe someone else could reproduce my issue.
