:The latest occured after a new buildworld this morning and I've
:attempted this twice now in the past two days. Rebooting after
:successfully installing java/jdk14 leaves the filesystem in a broken
:state that fsck can't repair without manually prompting

I had another thought... what kind of local mods do you have
in your src/sys tree? i.e. are you running any of the ATA patches?
If you are, that could be a potential cause of the problem (nobody
should be running those patches on a production or personal machine).

Repeatability, though, usually means cockpit trouble somewhere.
