:For awhile now, idle times in w and finger have changed their
:behavior.  The old behavior only changes the idle time if a
:user actually interacts with the terminal.  Now, anytime the
:terminal changes (think irc, email, etc.) it updates the idle
:time, even if the user hasn't interacted with terminal for
:hours.  Can someone change it to the old behavior?

    It needs a little work.  The device bypass caused the old method
    to stop working.  Now it updates it manually, but on both read and 
    write.  Should be fixable.
