Adding firefox from the URLs above will work the same for you as
building it - just won't take as long.  Why it's failing to build I
don't know, but if we can just install the prebuilt binary, it'll get
you what you want.

I thought my moused idea was it; I had to do it today when setting up
a virtual install.  I suppose trying my earlier idea of changing
xorg.conf's mouse entry to ums0 or sysmouse may do it.  It's probably
already sysmouse.

If you cd to /usr and type 'make', you will see all the options for
getting new src or pkgsrc files.
