Are you really going to give up so easily after you got lilypond fixed?

At least find replace make and put double quotes around the flex 
variable, e.g.

FROM: ((${_TOOLS_DEPMETHOD.flex} == "BUILD_DEPENDS")
  TO: (("${_TOOLS_DEPMETHOD.flex}" == "BUILD_DEPENDS")

Just to get past the error.
