Anyone have kdevelop working on dfly?

I have succeeded in installing KDevelop. I copied another project, tried to 
automake/configure/build it, and got a fork bomb in libtool. I made a hello 
project and got the following error:

configure: error: cannot guess build type; you must specify one
checking build system type... 
*** Exited with status: 1 ***

Looks like configure has never heard of DragonFly and doesn't know that it's a 
BSD.
