    No, data already mirrored is not pruned after the fact by the
    mirroring program.  You have to prune the mirror target independently.
    This allows mirror targets to use a different pruning regimen if
    they desire.

    Since <fs>/snapshots/ is mirrored the snapshots directory for the
    PFS slave must be configured (via hammer pfs-update) to somewhere
    that is not in the slave if you want it to use a different pruning
    regimen.
