Most ASUS motherboards for AMD processors and some Gigabyte
motherboards have ECC support.

On the Intel CPU side, the X38/X48 supports ECC with DDR2 memory,
Again, many manufacturers don't have ECC support with their motherboards,
but ASUS and Gigabyte often do with those chips.

I don't know what the story is with motherboards for the Core i7 and ECC.
