Hello,

Some Gnome programs are crashing in a similar manner. For example:

gedit when exiting:
alcyone: {110} gedit

(gedit:71982): Gnome-CRITICAL **: gnome_program_get_app_version: assertion `program != NULL' failed

** (bug-buddy:71984): WARNING **: Couldn't load icon for Bonobo Component Browser

** (bug-buddy:71984): WARNING **: Couldn't load icon for CD Database Server

** (bug-buddy:71984): WARNING **: Couldn't load icon for Open Folder
This libgtop was compiled on DragonFly 1.6.2-RELEASE i386
If you see strange problems caused by it,
you should recompile libgtop and dependentapplications.
kvm_open: error reading /proc/71981/mem: Bad address
Killed
srussell@alcyone: {111} LibGTop-Server: pid 71985 received eof.

And also gnome-control-center when opening the keyboard configuration tool:

alcyone: {107} gnome-control-center

** (bug-buddy:71949): WARNING **: Couldn't load icon for Bonobo Component Browser

** (bug-buddy:71949): WARNING **: Couldn't load icon for CD Database Server

/usr/pkg/share/bug-buddy/gdb-cmd:1: Error in sourced command file:

LibGTop-Server: pid 71950 received eof.

I recompiled libgtop but it changed nothing.

I have no clue on where to start to solve this problem. I search on the Internet and in DragonFly archive, but I found nothing.

In the meantime my I can't configure my keyboard right. Is there a way to hold Gnome from installing it's keyboard settings?

Thanks :-)

Stephane Russell
