You can with cvsup, make a copy of the 1.6-release sup-file and changes 
the line
    *default release=cvs tag=DragonFly_RELEASE_1_6_Slip
to
    *default release=cvs tag=DragonFly_RELEASE_1_6_1
and use it to pull down the sources.
