Yes, most packages should work just fine. Some of the low-level stuff
might not work correctly though, e.g. ktop or similiar programs.

I guess this is part of the USE_LANGUAGES fallout. I have a full build
running at the moment, which should help to find the remaining problems.
It can take a few days until it arrives at MesaLib though.
