Yes, and that won't change either. Keep in mind that e.g. NetBSD uses
/emul which would be linked to /usr/pkg/emul, see below.

For libc5 programs, you might still need to brandelf them, since are not
always detected automatically.

Often easier and slightly better

ln -s /usr/pkg/emul /compat
