I have the same:

WARNING: #da/0x20005 si_iosize_max=0, using DFLTPHYS.

WARNING: #da/0x20007 si_iosize_max=0, using DFLTPHYS.

Just installed the system, had no time to complain yet. :)

I have - mpt0: <LSILogic 1030 Ultra4 Adapter>

By the way, I have also these messages during boot:
mpt0: Unknown event b
mpt0: Unknown event b

What kind of disk controller do you have? I've seen the DFLTFPHYS message before with some older models of SCSI controller, though I've never seen the disks named in hex.
