Cool&Quiet is a feature of the bios (check settings) and should work
with any OS, slow the fan when it's not hot...

The powerstep feature is in the kernel to make it run cooler when
not loaded, _that_ probably won't be supported till a 64 bit kernel
can be built.. too bad it's not automatic at the hw level.
