I tried the iso and it boots fine to a login, but at that point the 
keyboard doesn't work.  If I boot with a usb keyboard attached the usb 
keyboard will work, but the laptops will not.  When I tried to login as 
root it ask me for a password so I tried installer and it went there 
fine.  With the reboot computer from the installer it brought me back to 
a login and this time I could login as root, no password required.

I will look at it more this evening.  I came home for lunch to see if it 
would work.
