ksh in base?

A further suggestion for bloating base :-)

What about putting OpenBSD's version of pdksh (public domain korn
shell) in /usr/src/contrib?

NetBSD also have it in base now. OpenBSD's fork of pdksh includes
useful functionality like tab completion by default which acts like
bash (which would appeal to those migrating from linux/bash).

ash seems to have more restrictions as a modern POSIX shell (although
it is being maintained and extended by FreeBSD).

I just tried a CVS checkout of src/bin/ksh from OpenBSD and it
compiled without any patches.

Cheers Steve
