Attached is a dfports override of mplayerplug-in. It adds a patch to prevent a crash at the end of a media stream. I do not know if this problem also affects FreeBSD as I do not have a FreeBSD system to test. If it does, then maybe someone can send the "patch-Source_plugin-threads.cpp" file to the FreeBSD folks.
