Hi.

I looked at the archive, and saw that someone is writing a new little
email system.

Why? We have nullmailer, qmail, postfix.

Someone mentioned running the server as (GASP!) suid-root. Haven't we
learned anything from the past mistakes that this is bad?

If you are going to implement a small and secure e-mail agent, at
least take a look at a good design - qmail.
