Managed to install from RC1 iso by manually copying files over w/
existing 4.x install.  Works great, but had problems booting CD on
Gateway laptop -- boots OK on another machine.  Output follows.

Halts in sys/boot/i386/cdboot/cdboot.s at load_vd after failing to
read sectors in.
