Er, right, OK, well, um...

If you can generate a plaintext README from the SGML/XML/XSLT/whatever's
in the doc project, for inclusion on the live CD, I think that'd be
great.

The general attitude for the installer is that it should cover the most
common installation cases, and cover them well, instead of trying to be
"specialized for everything"... so the manual installation isn't going
to go away.  If the user doing the installing has specific needs and
some familiarity with BSD, they'll be encouraged to do it manually, and
for that, documentation in an accessible format would be nice, and in
the live CD environment, plain text is the most accessible doc format.

I'm not even thinking about "on-line" docs or "help files" during the
installer yet, although we'll obviously need those at some point too,
and obviously it would be nice if we could generate them from the same
source, but I suspect it isn't possible without having it appear out of
context (online help isn't usually read like a manual is read.)
