Ok, I just fixed a leak in the arp code, easily detected by the
fact that 'vmstat -m | fgrep lwkt' shows the message allocation
incrementing slowly over time (or faster if you are doing a lot of
arps).
There were also some other issues that I fixed but which should not
have caused any current issues (but would have in the future).
