I don't want to get too involved here because, really, I've
been following this thing so long I take as granted facts that
others probably still need 'proved' to them.

All I can say, in general, is to visit groklaw.net and read the
actual legal filings from the beginning. There are a lot of them.

SCO is not suing Linus. They simply Subpoena'd him for information.
Actually, most analysts seem confused over why SCO did this. The
concensus seems to be that SCO was caught off guard by IBM's attempt
to Compel Discovery and tried to come up with a quick response. Basically
SCO's case falls apart the moment discovery is compelled. They've done
everything they can to avoid it so far but time is fast running out for
them. It will be interesting to see what happens on Dec 5th when they
have to make Oral arguments in front of a judge.

SCO is certainly going after Linux. Numerous public statements, including
their most recent teleconference with analysts, make that absolutely
crystal clear. They have also made recent public statements in regards
to the BSDs as well. All of this material is available online, right
down to the original documents in PDF form and audio of their
    teleconference.
