LiveCD now ejectable (CD-ROM drive no longer locked) with resulting badness

For some reason, it is now possible to eject a DragonFly LiveCD after
booting from it.  The result is fairly predictable (an infinite loop of
vm_fault: pager: read error, plus some cd0:ata:0:1:0 Medium not present
type messages) but probably not important, since the real solution would
be to keep the CD drive locked, like it used to be.  Anyone have an idea
what might have changed?
