:After seeing this message, rsync started to fail because some of directories
:became inaccessible(same symptom as that reported in thread "file weirdness"
:started in the middle of this month). Last time I saw this during buildworld,

    The warning message itself is ok, but unless the problem built up from
    previous errors there still must be bugs in the vfs compat routines
    that exist during the old->new api transition.

    I'm just going to have to slog forward on the VFS work until its done.
