I rebuilt my userland, even when /etc/ppp/options is set to
connection speed of 9600, pppd is taking huge amounts of CPU:
PID USERNAME PRI NICE SIZE RES STATE TIME WCPU CPU COMMAND
754 root 227 0 2316K 1348K RUN 4:09 99.02% 99.02% pppd
But there are no signs of sio overflows happening.
What is it that is causing these problems?
