Re: freeze on reboot

    Do you have any cardbus cards pugged in on this machine?  If so try
    unplugging the card after the hangs and see if that unhangs it.

    If not then the question is whether ctl-alt-esc works.

    Also, try the latest cvsup/source tree.  A bunch of stuff has gone in
    since RC1 (though not anything that would necessarily fix a 
    freeze-on-reboot problem).  I am going to roll RC2 later today.
