Hi Max,

By the way, thanks for giving your time and effort on this problem.
Don't worry if this an advance work for you, for now I'll be using the
other option using the command-line of running VLC on my Xfce
environment. As based on the ktrace findings, if someone could only
describe the cause of the core dump then it would be better and
appreciated so that I can have an idea on what's going on to the
problem.
