Building Linux Device Drivers on FreeBSD
I found this from OSNews and maybe it can be an
interesting stuff to discuss.
The BSD world has some advantage with wifi hardware
support but Linux clearly has a lot of general
advantages with hardware support, both by open-source
developers and hardware manufacturer companies.
Do you think this can be interesting for the BSD world
or just is a short way sollution that makes a benefit
to Linux in a trojan manner?
What alternative solutions do you think it can be
better for improving the hardware support?
I think hardware support is one of the most important
issues from BSD flavours, and it seems must be fixed
before being too late.
