VMWare vs /etc/rc.d/syscons?

Not sure where this issue is coming from I suspect it may be something
that DragonFly-1.6.0-RELEASE doesn't like about VMWare.

I'm developing a few semi-embedded systems built on DragonFlyBSD, I'm
building the systems up in VMWare (Server 1.0.1) and I've noticed
sometimes the DragonFly boot will hang at "Configuring syscons:.",
just wondering if anybody else is experiencing similar problems
(either on virtual machines or physical machines) and if anybody has
some insight into what may be causing this.

The only console related settings in /etc/rc.conf are;
blanktime="NO"
saver="NO"

Although I was also experiencing the same issues with no console
related settings in /etc/rc.conf

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Morgan
