Probably great scads or work, but it might be a good idea.

Hot sure that solves the problem, to my (limited) understanding the problem is not with CVS per se (though there are problems with that too) but rather with checking out the whole repository at once. Using normal CVS this is not very efficient and CVSup is. The question then is how efficient subversion is. (Someone who knows please confirm/deny.)


I'd say that if there is a move then it will be to a decentralized VCS and with some luck it will include an efficient checkout in the package.
