Well, mozilla doesn't know about DFly yet, so I need to know
how to set the variable above. I've tried both settings and
mozilla compiles okay but segfaults either way :o/

http://ftp.fortunaty.net/DragonFly/inofficial/dfports/patch-xpcom::reflect::xptcall::src::md::unix::xptc_platforms_unixish_x86.h

I applied the patch, which amounts to the same thing I did by hand earlier -- and this time I get an infinite loop instead of a segfault message:

37382 mozilla-bin PSIG SIGSEGV caught handler=0x288e2734 mask=0x0 code=0x0
37382 mozilla-bin CALL sigreturn(0xbfbfeb98)
37382 mozilla-bin RET sigreturn JUSTRETURN
37382 mozilla-bin PSIG SIGSEGV caught handler=0x288e2734 mask=0x0 code=0x0
37382 mozilla-bin CALL sigreturn(0xbfbfeb98)
37382 mozilla-bin RET sigreturn JUSTRETURN
ad infinitum...

Did you do the patchwork on mozilla-devel or on firefox?
