    I'm making progress, but it looks like it might be safest for people
    to stick with DragonFly_Stable for at least the next 2 weeks, possibly
    longer.  While I've always intended to basically rewrite almost the 
    whole of VFS, I was hoping I would be able to do it in smaller stable
    stages.  But its looking to be impossible to do it that way.

    I'll post a more detailed description of the issues on the kernel@ list.
