Just FYI, I've emailed cg@xxxxxxxxxxx about this to see what he thinks
about it.

While in cleanup mode: I propose that we follow FreeBSD's lead and nuke
strhash.c (and its header strhash.h) completely.  It's nonstandard,
undocumented, unused, and namespace-polluting.  If committers agree,
then the part of my include.diff patch that addresses it can be snipped.
