amd64 world compiles (again!)

hey,

Joint efforts by Noah Yan and myself have made it possible to compile a amd64 world.  Again.

PLEASE, people, in the future try to keep the amd64 bits in sync so that we don't have to spend several hours again to make the amd64 world compile.  This is I think the third time I made it work.

For the positive side of this message:  amd64 world compiles!  People, start hacking so that we soon have a compiling amd64 kernel!  The last step would be to make the amd64 kernel actually work.  So:  hack on!
