Replacing a drive in vinum is not harder. In fact, using RAID-1 for
whole disks is often duplicating work, e.g. if you actually use
swap space for MFS etc.

Indeed, Ive used it a few times before and its nice (way better than
vinum in my opinion)
Cheap onboard RAID < ZFS > Vinum
If we had ZFS port done then there would really be no point in using
onboard RAID, I agree.
ZFS won't fix or replace real RAID.
