vinum problems

Greetings,

I'm testing vinum with the latest Stable kernel.
I tried to create a degraded raid-5 plex (a 3-disk plex, where only two are really present) , but as soon as I run "vinum create -f configfile", the system crashes with the following message:

Fatal trap 12: page fault while in kernel mode
fault virtual address = 0x33
fault code = supervisor write, page not present
instruction pointer = 0x8:0xd7357a28
stack pointer = 0x10:0xd73468c0
frame pointer = 0x10:0xd73468d4
code segment = base 0x0, limit 0xfffff, type 0x1b
                        = DPL 0, pres 1, def32 1, gran 1
processor eflags = interrupt enabled, resume, IOPL = 0
current process = 838 (vinum)
current thread = pri 6
interrupt mask = none
kernel: type 12 trap, code=2
Stopped ad open_drive+0x1f8: movl $0x10000,0x34(%eax)

I think vinum doesn't handle well the missing disk.
With the same configuration I can get the array up and running in FreeBSD 5.x (at least until I try to have vinum start at boot time...)

I can provide more information (and plenty of core dumps :D) if needed.

thanks,
Marco
