P2-266 Toshiba laptop, IBM Travelstar drive.

That's an idea.  I can't even get through an ISO install, let alone a
buildworld.

I just got another idea.  Since I bought a new drive, thinking mine was
shot, I could try it in another laptop.  I think it should work in an old
Dell about the same year, P2-233.

In one of the past messages, Hiten wrote

Did that ever happen?
