somehow knodes did not send my article, time to switch i guess...
now a different computer maybe its not me ;)

HAL is completly stupid (and so is its init system).
most of freedesktops work is not worth mentioning, but dbus is a nice
framework. i played with it today (emit an event in .forward, one in usbd,
catch both by a custom written program), and i like it.

btw: this app is less than 100 lines, dbus does not have to be verbose...
