DragonFly commits List (threaded) for 2004-05
Apache (probably offtopic)
I don't know if the following flaw is directly related to DFly, but
maybe someone of you knows a solution:
I installed Apache 2 from the ports collection ~3 weeks ago, and since
then, whenever I try to view picture data (jpg, gif, whatever), the
Browser (Firefox) displays the picture with graphical errors, most of
the time a horizontal bar rom right to the center of the picture which
definetly is not part of the original data. (This also holds true for
IE (yuk!) or Mozilla)
When I open the picture directly, that is, File->Open with accessing
the picture through Samba, the picture looks okay; accessing it
through a href-tag results in corrupted data.
The problem seems to appear only if the picture exceeds certain
dimensions. 200x200 jpgs looks okay, 800x600 does not due to corrupted
data. I believe it's a problem with the header data being sent from
apache, but I haven't found a workaround for this.
As mentioned above, I just don't know if this is related to DFly, but
maybe someone of you has hint as where to look at. In the "early days"
of my DFly installations, let's say 2 months ago, everything worked
the way it should.
