No, it should work... run the 'dmesg' command (login as root on one
of the other virtual consoles).
I selected the whole disk for dfly, and formatting went fine.
I have even successfully installed working boot loader
(the F1-F5 prompt to select what partition to boot from)
to both disks, and it works fine.
In dmesg, I get seven of:
WARNING: da0 si_iosize_max=0, using DFLTPHYS
for both da0 and da1.
Then five of:
WARNING: #da/0x2000a si_iosize_max=0, using DFLTPHYS
On the first virtual console (I presume it's stderr) there is
plenty of error messages, they look like this:
SE32 0xda9d2ab8: Addr=0x73951000 FlagsLenght=0xd5000700
HOST_TO_IOC LAST_ELEMENT END_OF_BUFFER END_OF_LIST
(I only copied he last one)
Here is a screenshot from an earlier attempt:
I have no idea what's wrong, Solaris works just fine with both disks.
