Sorry if this is a dumb question, but are you just trying to get a working
system -- or are you trying to debug the install CD?  I would suspect the
latter, in which case I can't help.  But if you are just trying to get a
working system you can use a FreeBSD floppy to install a FBSD bootblock
until you figure out what the problem is.
