Writing to USB CD-RW crashes machine

I hope this is the right forum.

I've just installed and cvsup'ed DragonFlyBSD 1.0-CURRENT. My problem is that when I try to write an ISO to my USB CD-RW the machine locks up and I must hit the reset button to recover. I am using the GENERIC kernel.

From dmesg:

umass0: IOMEGA CDRW64892EXT3-B, rev 2.00/0.02, addr 2
<snip>
cd0 at umass-sim0 bus 0 target 0 lun 0
cd0: <IOMEGA CDRW64892EXT3-B 6OP1> Removable CD-ROM SCSI-0 device
cd0: 1.000MB/s transfers
cd0: Attempt to query device size failed: NOT READY, Medium not present

This USB CD-RW is connected through a USB 2.0 PCI card. There is also an ATAPI CDROM using the ATAPI/CAM drivers.

Everything works great until I try to write a CD with xcdroast. The CD starts to spin, but then the machine locks up...and the CD continues to spin. Again, the only thing that stops this is hitting the reset button.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Dave
