:PIIX4-based notebook and now on 855GM chipset on shiny new Centrino

    Yes, same thing with me.  Sometimes if I unplug a USB device while it
    is in use or connected I can crash my workstation.

    My guess is that 80% of these crashes are simple stupid things that 
    can be easily found and fixed given a crash dump.
