    I am about to commit (in the next 5 minutes) the fix that David R 
    and I have been testing.

    I can't emphasize enough how dangerous the kernel you are running is to
    your filesystem.  ( I am hoping it isn't the 'latest' but is a
    lightly older version, you didn't say what the build date was ).
