I did the ktrace -i but I couldn't get devel/linux_kdump to build. First 
it complained about syscalls.master not being there (the path in the 
Makefile was wrong) and now it says:

/bin/sh /usr/src/sys/kern/makesyscalls.sh 
/usr/src/sys/emulation/linux/i386/syscalls.master linux_syscallnames.conf

/usr/src/sys/kern/makesyscalls.sh: cannot create ../sys/sysunion.h: 
directory nonexistent

I've put the ktrace -i output up @

if that is of any help to you. If not, please tell me how to build 
linux_kdump.
