    Ok, this is a general posting to bugs@.  Adam's AGP problems were related
    to a catch-all host-bus device in the system which was attaching to the
    AGP bus before the AGP module could probe/attach, preventing the 
    AGP module from attaching.

    agp.ko still cannot be loaded via loader.conf or after the fact.  I am
    investigating (hopefully with some input from Joerg) whether we can simply
    remove the catch-all device entirely.  Adam did verify that removing the
    device entirely allows AGP to be loaded as a module.
