Oh, ok. That explains a lot. Thanks.


That first little trick helped imake install, and some nudging helped XF4-libraries compile and install, but only the static ones, which makes Xft and XF4 unhappy.

Any way of forcing it to understand? I don't have much of a grip on the intricate imake infrastructure...
