    It should not be necessary to scrap the existing FreeBSD install
    just to build dragonfly.  I've been doing DFly builds on crater,
    which is still a FreeBSD box, for months.  Of course, it is also
    possible that I might have accidently updated something on Crater
    to its DFly equivalent and that builds on pure FreeBSD boxes are
    broken, but I hope not.

    UPDATING is primarily for when you are on a DragonFly box.
